For One Night Only – the rehearsals!
Forgive me if I’m a little dazed of late – if London buses come along in threes then so do plays! At the moment, it’s full steam ahead with rehearsals for One Night Only an evening of entertainment featuring 3 of my short plays.

If you missed Celia last year at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, here’s another opportunity to see Whitley Bay actor Penny Lamport’s compelling performance of this housewife (49ish). Celia is tired of putting the toilet seat down after the men in her life and escapes into a parallel world, the inspiration for her romantic short stories. But what happens when fantasy gives way to reality and Celia is caught between a hot flush and a hot date?

I am also very privileged to be working with Stocksfield Players Jo Harrison, David Mitchelson for Revenge is Dish… and Ray Moore in the role of Clifford Gee plus co-director Karen Kirkland.
Here’s Ray warming up his vocal chords to work the tables and deliver a timely performance as crooner Clifford Gee. And just wait until you see his gear!
We have also taken advantage of the warm light evenings to go outdoors for a run-through of Revenge is a Dish… with Andy and Jude having a few relationship difficulties out on the common.
A couple of glasses of chilled white wine really helped to get the rehearsal going!
