Past Writing Event: Writers’ Retreat at Auckland Castle 31st May 2015

Whenever I’m out and about, I’m always keeping an eye out for our writers, searching for a tranquil spot where you can feel at ease in surroundings that will bring out the writer in you.  And of course the refreshments must be upto scratch! Judging from the feedback, our recent Writers’ Retreat at Auckland Castle ticked all of these boxes.

Thanks to everyone who came along and found inspiration in our own Victoria Suite and the beautiful Auckland Castle and grounds.  And of course there was time for conversation around the lunch table in The Library Tea Room.

I am just planning our next retreat at Shepherd’s Dene, Riding Mill with a provisional date of Sunday 9th August 2015.  Details will be in the next newsletter so please keep a space in your diaries.
