Sunday 31st May 2015, Writers’ Retreat at Auckland Castle
Join us at the ancient Auckland Castle, Palace of the Prince Bishops of Durham for almost 1000 years. Here we will have a private room with parkland view in the Victoria Suite where you can bring your own writing to work on. Or perhaps you might like to find a seat in the palace or a pew in the chapel and start something new inspired by your magnificent surroundings? Spark your imagination under an ancient cedar in the palace grounds or as you take a stroll through the parkland. Add light lunch in the Library Tea Room and you have a perfect day!

This will be a relaxed, informal day which welcomes everyone whether writing for business or pleasure. It’s an ideal opportunity to start that short story, plot out your drama, research your novel or be inspired to poetry! Or perhaps you need to write a report or proposal or some content for your website?
